Here is a video of one isometric exercise I’ve used recently. While I’m no super-athlete, I’ve been training all my life and I still regularly incorporate isometrics into my routine. Isometric training has many unique benefits and can and should be used by trainees of all skill levels. Many people incorrectly assume that isometrics are merely a tool for beginners or people who can’t do “real reps,” but that’s not true. This post will teach you how to make the most of these exercises for pull-ups, chin-ups, and beyond. If you want to get stronger, do more pull-ups, and master some difficult feats of strength, isometric exercises can help beginner and advanced trainees alike. ![]() Welcome back!
